Lemon Coconut Bliss Balls 🍋 🥥 ⁣

-1 cup Medjool dates, pitted⁣
- 1 cup unsweetened shredded coconut⁣
- 1/2 cup almond flour⁣
- Zest of 1 lemon⁣
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice⁣
- 2 tablespoons date syrup (@dvashorganics - get 20% off your order with code BALANCED20)⁣
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract⁣
- Pinch of salt⁣
- Extra shredded coconut for rolling (optional)⁣
⁣
Instructions:⁣
- In a food processor, blend the pitted dates until they form a sticky paste.⁣
- Add the shredded coconut, almond flour, lemon zest, lemon juice, date syrup, vanilla extract, and salt to the food processor. - Pulse until the mixture is well combined and forms a dough-like consistency.⁣
- Roll the mixture into bite-sized balls using your hands.⁣
- If desired, roll the balls in shredded coconut to coat the exterior.⁣
- Place the balls in an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.⁣
⁣
*Note: I used a Vitamix which came together well but the process took longer so recommend using a food processor.⁣
⁣

Almond Joy Energy Balls ✨⁣

Ingredients:⁣
- 1 cup rolled oats⁣
- 1/2 cup shredded unsweetened coconut⁣
- 1/4 cup almond butter⁣
- 1/4 cup date syrup - @dvashorganics
- 1/4 cup chopped almonds⁣
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips⁣
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract⁣
⁣
Instructions:⁣
- In a food processor, blend the rolled oats until they form a coarse flour-like consistency.⁣
- In a mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients.⁣
- Stir the mixture until well combined.⁣
- Once the mixture is well combined, place it in the refrigerator for about 15-20 minutes to firm up.⁣
- Remove the mixture from the refrigerator and roll it into bite-sized balls using your hands.⁣
- Place the energy balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to set.⁣
- Once the energy balls are firm, transfer them to an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for up to a week.⁣
⁣
Makes about 15 servings.⁣

I recently started incorporating more resistance training into my workout routine and realized that I needed to up my protein intake. 💪🏼⁣

🍫Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie Recipe⁣
- 1 cup almond milk (or any milk you like)⁣
- 1 date⁣
- 1 frozen banana⁣
- 1 tbsp flaxseed meal⁣
- 1 tbsp peanut butter⁣
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon⁣
- topping: cacao nibs, hemp seeds, and peanut butter⁣
⁣
Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy! 💚⁣

Last week I felt like I needed a little pick-me-up so I decided to make these delicious energy bites. ⁣

- 1 cup rolled oats⁣
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (I used vegan)⁣
- 1/2 cup ground flaxseed meal⁣
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter⁣
- 1/3 cup maple syrup⁣
- 1 tsp vanilla extract⁣
⁣
✨Instructions⁣
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl. ⁣
- Form into small balls⁣
- Place on a baking sheet and place in the fridge for about 1 hour to set.⁣
- Store in the fridge in an airtight container⁣
