Lightly grease a baking dish/pan with some coconut oil.
Peel, core, and slice apples. Toss them in a bowl and add some lemon juice to prevent your apples from browning.
To the bowl of apples add the maple syrup, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Mix together until the apples are covered. Add the apple filling to a baking pan/dish and set aside.
In another bowl, add oats, almond flour, coconut sugar, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Mix together.
Then add coconut oil to the oat mixture. Use a fork to mash coconut oil in with the mixture until it has a crumbly consistency.
Evenly sprinkle crisp topping over the apple filling.
Bake in the oven for 45-50 minutes until golden brown.
