Ingredients

  • 1 medium granny smith apple
  • 3 carrots
  • 1 large beet
  • 1/3 cup frozen mango
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger

Instructions

  • Cut the apples in four. Do not peel or remove the core. An apple’s core contains good, gut health-promoting bacteria.
  • Wash carrots and beets well. Cut into chunks.
  • Wash the ginger and peel it if you want. The ginger skin is edible and filled with nutrients but if the ginger has aged too long then the skin can taste bitter.
  • Put all ingredients in a high-powered blender starting with the apple, carrots, beets, frozen mango, then ginger.
  •  Put the lid on the blender and blend until smooth.
  • Once blended you have two options:
1.) Drink as it is. (This option will be pulpy)
2.) Strain in a nut bag (Beets stain your hand but don’t be alarmed it will be temporary)
  • Place it in the fridge. It tastes even better cold. Can be stored for up to 5 days in the fridge.
